Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She's best known as Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay and Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. Silk is the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories include going to play rehearsals as well as watching her mother do the do her job. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials as an infant. She earned a Bachelors in Arts from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. Then she moved in Los Angeles California during the next decade. She met her future spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's workshop in Los Angeles in 2007. After getting engaged in 2008, they got married in 2009. They were married in Fredericton on April 10th 2011, they renewed vows after her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk got a baby named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second son was born in May 2016. Silk has played a range of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 to play this character. In 2009, she was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the season's third finale episode. She announced the pregnancy to viewers of the show during a Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk was doing work on the show since the final season episode was conceived on the 6th of January, 2013. She announced via Twitter her intention to return the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the same-sex couple on Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples ever. E! Magazine declared that they were the top Television Couples of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most popular shows on social media.
