A glittering professional's career can conceal some of the saddest stories. Lolo Jones, winner of both USA championships as well as the World Champion in hurdles has reached her current position with a lot struggle and an immense amount of perseverance. Born to a single mother in a family of five kids, Jones had a difficult and impoverished childhood. Her mother was always changing her location and she lived at the bottom of her home. Jones had in a mobile and nomadic lifestyle up until she enrolled in high school, had to move to a new school annually. Jones had to live away from her mother in Theodore Roosevelt School in order to pursue her interest in track. She lived at four different residences during her time at high school to ensure that she could attend all of her classes in one location. Jones received the Gatorade Iowa Track and Field Award for the Best Athlete during her time at school. She also was an active member of the school orchestra, as a cello player. Jones, when she went to college, was recognized as a top hurdler. In 2002, at the NCAA Track & Field Championship, she won the hurdles 100 meters. In addition, she was on the team that finished 2nd in the 100 meters relay. Jones was a winner of the hurdles in the indoor section at NCAA Championships both in 2003 and 2004. Jones began training in 2005 when she finished her studies. That same year, she won the Torino Memorial event, and in the year 2206, she was crowned the Ostrava track event, as in addition to the Heusden track event.
Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town in South Africa. She immigrated from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand with her family in her late teens. Brandt was identified by local casting agencies, took the lead character of Naevia on the Starz blockbusters Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. With producers Steven S. D Knight (Sam Raimi) and Steven S. D Knight (Steven S. D Knight) the actress quickly became a hit. Mazikeen is a DC Comics/Vertigo character who was portrayed by Netflix's hit show Lucifer. The show ran for six years. Lucifer has broken record for binge watching and was named as the best binged show in 2021 by Forbes. Brandt next appears opposite Andrew Lincoln in the limited Walking Dead 6 episode spin-off which will premiere in 2024. Captain Fall, an adult-oriented show Captain Fall will premiere on Netflix in July 2023. Brandt will be starring alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni. Lesley-Ann Brandt is an South African actress, born in Cape town on the 2nd December 1981. She's a very talented New Zealand actor. Lesley Brandt moved with her entire family of New Zealand to Auckland in 1999. The first time she worked working in Auckland as a store manager, and was then promoted to an IT management consultant. Lesley has performed in numerous commercial ads after several modeling projects. In 2008, she concluded her training in acting. After that, in 2009 she began her training again with the Meisner technique of studying. Lesley's debut prominent role with New Zealand was as a TV actor on Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt appeared in the New Zealand drama Shortland Street in the role of a guest supporting part. Her next appearance was in This Is Not My Life. It is based off the actual account of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast as Naevia the hostage's young daughter and featured later in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniseries in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
