Megan Gale
Gale was then 18 and Gale, then 18, won a Perth model contest in the year she was 18. Gale won a modeling contest in Perth at the age of 18. Following a number of years in the modeling industry, Gale became famous when she was chosen as a model in an advertising campaign by Omnitel (which is now an Italian telecom business (now Vodafone Italy). Gale was featured in Omnitel's advertisements through 2006, and she was chosen in 2003 in 2003 by the Australian Tourist Commission as the 'face of Australia for Italy.' Gale has appeared on the cover of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia, Gioia, Italian and Australian GQ, Italian Maxim, Australian InStyle and featured in editorials published by Australian Cosmopolitan as well as Vogue Italia. Gale has worked as a model in Italian fashion houses, including Gianfranco Ferre Genny, Gai Mattiolo and runway work in the fashion houses of Mariella Burani, and Angelo Marani at Milan Fashion Week. Gale is a fan of many Australian designers such as Colette dinnigan, Kirrily Johnsonston Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. She served as the fashion analyst at Australian TV's Logies awards in 2006. Gale declared in January 2008 that she would be retiring in fashion after fifteen prosperous years. Just a few weeks later, at the launch of the David Jones winter collection in Sydney, Gale walked for her last time on the catwalk. Her last outfit was that of the Wonder Woman outfit she was to wear for the recently released motion picture Justice League of America. In March of 2011, Gale returned to the runway for Alex Perry's show for the 2011 Melbourne Fashion Festival show.
